Glass Fencing

If you’re looking to add an element of class and sophistication to your pool area, consider semi frameless glass fencing. This usually involves toughened glass, around 8 mmm, with polished edges that can be deck-mounted or core drilled into paving. The posts are treated with a non-toxic, zinc-rich thermosetting and then powder-coated. The glass is treated with non ozone depleting materials that have no negative environmental effects.

Frameless glass pool fencing is not only affordable, it is also quite safe. In terms of safety and product standards, the powder coatings on the glass have been engineered to accord with the regulations for Australian metal finishing policies of 2002 and 2005. As with any product of this nature, these glass fences do require regular cleaning and occasional maintenance. Wash gently with a soft clean brush and a mild detergent and then rinse. Be sure you are using the proper kind of detergent; abrasive cleaners and solvents, including those often used for pain thinning, can damage the powder coating and compromise the integrity of the glass.

But pool areas are not the only places where glass fencing can make a difference. Frameless glass balustrades are not only elegant and chic, they are also quite safe. Like the pool fencing, they are powder coated and easy to clean. They work with both frameless and semi frameless fencing, and can add a modern touch to any home or business, leaving your view completely unobstructed. Best of all, aside from the routine cleanings, frameless glass balustrades are virtually maintenance free.
