Outdoor Foam Gives You Performance and Comfort

Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee, catching some rays by the pool, or letting the day’s stress melt away as you relax on a warm summer evening, patio furniture can provide some of life’s most enjoyable moments. Not all patio cushions are created equal though, and if your furniture is padded with a thin layer of rigid outdoor foam, there’s a good chance you’ll be going back inside sooner than you want, even on the nicest days.

Fortunately, outdoor foam is made with two functions in mind for your patio furniture. With a porous structure that drains and dries quickly, as well as a soft but supportive cushioning feel, outdoor foam is the perfect material for the use and abuse a patio furniture cushion will endure. When these special cushions are covered with the right aerating material, like Phifertex or Sunbrella fabrics, they are able to be left outside all season long, with the only upkeep being a heavy rinse with a hose if you feel they could use a wash. If you want bang for your buck in terms of performance and enjoyment, you shouldn’t gauge your patio furniture any differently than you do living room furniture.

When we’re relaxing on our living room couch for example, we notice the comfort because we’re only doing one or two things. But when we’re outside on the patio, a million things are happening at once, from grilling and watching the kids, to tossing the ball and getting in and out of the pool. When we get the chance to take a breath and sit down for the sake of doing so is really only when we notice comfort.
